11th Anniversary

Fabulous 11th Anniversary. Thank you so much to my wonderful Husband for planning such a great evening.

They made it

We have one day down and the kids made it through the first day. They both seem to like their teachers and genuinely be excited about the new year. They have a brand new school bus and that is exciting for them. It is HUGE. We have a new bus stop, which I am not thrilled about but everything worked out the first day.

1st day of school

Today is the first day back to school. Back to the schedule, back to the kids going to bed early, back to the morning RUSH, back to homework, back to watching football, time to start planning for the holidays and anxiously awaiting cooler weather.
Our kids have grown so much. I am pretty sure I have a picture from the first day last year on the blog. Check it out and see how they have grown!

SJB Triathlon

Well Tim, Doug and Rooter decided to do a triathlon relay together. Actually Tim came up with the idea, talked Doug into it and then they called Rooter and asked him if he would do the swimming part. Tim had to ride a bike for 25 miles so he has been training for a while.
It was in Clear Lake. Rooter swam for 1 mile in the lake and Tim was waiting to ride his bike. He rode down Nasa Rd 1, down 146 over the Kemah bridge then down towards Dickinson, and then back through Clear Lake to Nasa Rd1 where he met up with Doug. Then Doug ran for 6 miles through Nassau Bay neighborhood. They all did a really great job.

Leisure Resort

August 14th we headed out for a new camp ground. We had almost all of our camping group going and the camp ground was on the San Marcus River. The water was low, but since this river is spring fed, it still had a little flow to it. The camp grounds were really nice and very shaded which is a top priority for a camp ground in the middle of August.

By the time we got down the river the gang was all there waiting for us.

We had a really a great time and look forward to going again.

Cabo

Tim went on a fishing trip to Cabo San Lucus with his Dad and some other pool builders. They seemed to have had a great time with lots of fishing.

Tim Sr caught a big fish. Doesn't the water look great!

Boat ride back. It was 5 o'clock somewhere. Time for a brew!

One of the days they went out on 4wheelers. This was Tim's first one, then it broke down so he got nice new blue one.

On the last fishing trip Tim caught this big Sail fish. Looks like they had a great time!
