Kayla is off at Church Camp

Kayla is off at church camp close to Livingston this week. She was so excited. She went with three other friends. I talked to her yesterday and she said she was having so much fun. I can't wait to hear all about it when she gets home.

Kayla and Chandler

Collin went to Charger Football Camp

They had football camp at the high school so we thought that would be a fun way to introduce Collin to playing football. He really seemed to like it.

Happy Birthday Dad

July 23rd was my Dad's birthday. We had a last minute get together to celebrate. As the years go by in my life I have realized how important times like these are. I so enjoyed seeing everyone and enjoyed seeing my kids run around crazy with their cousins and laughing. Yes they made a mess, but who care they were having fun.

Some of my favorite guys, My dear husband, My brother, My Uncle Roy, My Uncle Gerald and my Dad.

Crystal, Dad, Joanie, Gerald and Sherry.
The kids jumpted in to help him blow out the candles.

Happy birthday to my dear Dad, I enjoyed it!

4th of July

Despite the continuous rain the forth of July was rain free. We had days and days of rain just before. Many events were canceled. We really enjoyed the parade, it is one of our favorite things to do every year. I read in the Galveston Daily news that it is one of the longest runing parades in the United States.

Florida Day 7

Mom's daily ritual, reading the paper in the morning. This was our last day before heading back.

Holiday Inn Express was our home for the week.

Passing through Alabama on our way home.

We had a tough time finding a hotel because of all of the workers down for the oil spill. Well the one we finally got was so so nice. We wished it had been our hotel for the whole week.

It was such a nice trip and we are thankful for the time we spent with our family.
Love to the Florida group!

Florida Day 6

We started the day by going to Wicki Wachi Spings. They have a water park called Buchaneer Bay. The water was freezing, but it fun.

Amanda, Collin and Kayla on the way in.

Afterwards we went to the Mermaide show. It was really fun.

Since this was our last evening we hung out with the group. I picked up Mom at Aunt Cindy's then we went over to Jimmy and Denny's.
