Huntsville State Park

We went camping this weekend at Huntsville State Park. It was a good weekend to get away. We had no rain, but we heard that it rained really bad here in town. There was a new couple camping with us Oscar and Amy. I hope we didn't scare them away! They have two boys, Collin was thrilled.

There is an Oscar Meyer Weiner Truck

It was driving beside me on the way home today. It was hilarious. I was driving down Nasa Road 1 and then it was on the new NASA Bypass. Not something you see everyday.

Collin is playing Catcher

Collin has been asking the coach and asking and now here we are. He is playing catcher and loving every minute of it. He has even gotten hit in the arm and I thought for sure that would be it for him. Nope he was back in next game. I think he likes the action.

We had a nice dinner at home on Sunday with my family. The weather turned out great for the egg hunt and the kids even went for a swim.

Easter Brunch

We celebrated Easter on Sunday morning at a brunch at Bay Oaks. We have a group that we have been going with since Tim and I first got together. It has been a joy to watch the kids grow up over the years. Each year our table seems to get bigger and bigger with all of the grand kids.

Saturday we got together for the Traditional EGG HUNT. We have an adult and children hunt. The adult hunt is very serious. There is cash and prizes involved. Most of all we enjoy spending time with the family and celebrating Easter Traditions.

Easter

Easter started on Good Friday for us. Kelly came in town and we had dinner and Granny's to celebrate. It was nice for Collin to have his cousins in town to play with. He enjoyed playing catch with the boys.

Collin's Skate Party

We had a skate party at Pearwood Skate for Collin's 7th Birthday. I could not believe that 7 years ago I was puking my guts out on a daily basis and had this humongous stomach. Thank goodness that was then and this is now. Now I have this wonderful little boy, that enjoys music and sports. He has a strong personality and is a leader. I look forward to watching him grow each day.
